While retaining the inherent sophistication, convenience and specialization of the traditional Approval Plan, Rittenhouse has recently rebooted our service to ensure that it is a valuable acquisition and development tool for the contemporary library.

New and Noteworthy Titles for Libraries
To keep our Library Partners up-to-date, each month Rittenhouse provides a list of essential and forthcoming Medical, Nursing and Allied Health titles. We have recently updated this service to give Library Partners the ability to view these titles on our website and add them directly to a shopping cart from the title list. Library Partners also have the ability to print, email or download the lists.

Doody's Core Title
Rittenhouse recognizes that few resources in medical publishing are as important as Doody’s Core Titles (DCT). The premier review service for health science publications, libraries rely on DCT throughout the year as they manage their collections, evaluate titles and make acquisition decisions. Rittenhouse has developed a service that creates prospective orders for Library Partners by combining order history data with the latest DCT information. This sophisticated reporting tool integrates two critical data sets – the best titles available and institutional acquisition history – into a single report for Rittenhouse Library Partners.

The Rittenhouse Core Collection Update service is a free collection development tool designed for libraries of all sizes. Cataloging
Rittenhouse is committed to being a resource to our Library Partners past the point of acquisition. We provide cataloging services through Marcive and OCLC’s WorldCat to increase processing efficiency as libraries get orders onto shelves and available to patrons.

Express Checkout
Place orders using multiple ISBNs quickly and easily using our Express Checkout service. Library Partners have the ability to enter ISBNs individually or to upload a bulk order, adding selected titles directly to a Rittenhouse.com shopping cart.

Libraries can provide health sciences students access to the resources critical to their coursework.
