Essentials of Bowel Anastomosis was originally developed by Dr. Zarour as an operative manual to accompany the Essentials of Bowel Anastomosis (EBA)r course. This course was introduced to expose the candidate to safe surgical practice within a controlled setting, and focuses on teaching and assessing skill acquisition of safe surgical techniques common to all forms of gastrointestinal surgery.
